  Look for another hotel this is very poor

  Very average hotel, lots of areas are tatty, the inset rugs in the floor when you go for breakfast are disgustingly dirty and definitely could do with a major deep clean, also supposed to be dog friendly but nowhere to sit and eat breakfast with your dog, no good when it’s chucking it down outside.   Staff spoilt a great hotel

  Hotel is excellent. Very clean, rooms spacious and pool fantastic. My only gripe would be the miserable staff.Bar staff in particular were extremely rude (with the exception of Alvero who couldn't do enough to please). There was also a severe lack of staff numbers with often one waiter/waitress looking after a full bar.The cleaning staff were also pleasant.   Don’t expect a smile

  The positives Lovely hotel with a Moroccan feel I personally think the decor was nice although some updating is needed. The pool area is so nice and the pool is big and a lovely temperature. We went room only but wished we had gone bed and breakfast as food was hard to find ! Is says breakfast in the club house 8am-11am but this isn’t true. Negatives !! The girl in the club house was so rude Every morning I asked for food at around 10am and she told me NO food available until 11am, I asked for tea and toast and was told NO only food in the menu was available (after 11am ) On the last day Alvero was working and he gave me tea and toast at 10 amMost of the staff were rude and really seemed to hate their jobs, not many smiling faces apart from Alvero who was lovely and friendly! The staff definitely need some training, however the cleaning staff always had a smile and kept our room very clean. Thankyou Alvero you made our holiday.   Awful terrible travel company stayforlfong, we contacted them before travel after reading reviews about building work, they said they had contacted supplied and NO building work was happening, there was only 1 restaurant instead of 5 open, which was a golf club bar; so we ate in a corridor outside the golf pro shop, there was numatic drill from 9 to 3 around the pool area every day, room was ok but air con was not working properly but manager said that was the coolest it would get, safe was broke no one came to fix it after advising.   We had three nights at this excellent resort and it exceeded our expectations in many ways. It is an extremely comfortable place to spend some time and it started our holiday brilliantly.The location is good and it took us about 20 minutes or so to drive to the hotel from the airport. They do have paid for underground parking but there's lots of free parking on the streets nearby so we used that.Probably the only negative of our trip there was the surrounding restaurants. Everything is based around a strip which is less than 10 minute walk away but the restaurants aren't good at all. Rather than producing good quality Spanish cuisine which you might expect they are all trying to be all things to all men and don't really succeed.That said, the hotel has 2 restaurants in and I'm sure they were good it's just we didn't use them.The pool area is superb. I saw a comment about there not being enough sun beds which I was really surprised about. We used the pool every day and there was always plenty available in sun or shade depending on your requirements. It really is a beautiful area to relax and read a book or have a swim.We wanted to have a junior suite but there aren't many of those and they were unavailable. We got a deluxe room which was extremely comfortable and had recently been refurbished. We needed to ask for furniture for the balcony but this was provided with a smile and we spent hours out there first thing in the morning and late in the evening.The best way to describe the room was very comfortable. It had good air conditioning which is important in this heat and a very comfy bed. The bathroom was absolutely lovely with a rain shower and nice toiletries provided.There was little noise from outside all the corridors so we slept extremely well and were provided with everything you could wish for to make it feel like a home from home.The staff were very attentive and helpful. José on Reception went above and beyond making sure we got the room we liked and it was typical of this excellent resort.
