Location

The complex is situated in Valle Gran Rey, a tourist resort located 20 km from San Sebastián, the capital of La Gomera Island. Restaurants, the beach and the nearest local transport links are both only some 250 m from the hotel. The centre of Valle Gran Rey is also only about 500 m away.

Facility

    Beautiful hotel set in quite side street of small seaside town of Valle Gran Ray.Room and appartments set around a tropical garden and swimming pool.Everything is pristine and clean.The pool area has plenty of sun beds all surrounded by tropical plants and trees, birds sing, tranquility and peacefulness surround you.We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and garden. Appartment was spacious, clean and modern with all facilities you'd expect.Staff were very helpful and friendly.The hotel is a short walk from the supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and seafront. I'd highly recommend.

    Comfortable and affordable hotel in beautiful Valle Gran Rey

    This is a good hotel with an excellent price quality ratio. The apartment was spacious with a nice balcony and the swimming pool area was very nice with a good pool and plenty of palm trees. Valle Gran Rey is a beautiful place with a good choice of restaurants while not being overly touristy. La Gomera is a beautiful island with stunning valleys, lots of trees, plants and flowers and truly great hiking. It's one of the best winter and early spring destinations within easy reach of the European mainland.

    Too many silly rules

    We are just finishing our holiday and had we known about all the rules we wouldn’t have booked here. Firstly there’s no bar or restaurant which wasn’t apparent on the booking site. Secondly there’s no food or drink allowed at the pool which is open from 10-6. We watched people getting told to leave sun beds at 6.15pm These people were sunbathing and reading quietly (as per the rules advising quiet conversations) and were all over 50. There’s no smoking even on balcony apart from 1 area near the pool which closes at 6. Reception staff not very helpful. There’s absolutely no atmosphere and nothing to do but read or go in the pool (til 6pm). The resort caters for Spanish and Germans. We were the only British voices to be heard. Our husbands got stuck up in the mountains due to the heat and we asked reception if they could get us a taxi but as it was a Sunday they said nobody would come. Receptionist wasn’t interested. We walked to the nearest pub at the end of the street and the guy behind the bar got us a taxi to pick them up and take them back to the car. Don’t book this hotel unless all you want to do is read all day every day. The resort itself is spotless and there are plenty of good restaurants with lovely food. I don’t know if it’s the time of year but everywhere shuts at 10pm

    Nice appartements in Valle Gran Rey, with outdoor pool, complete kitchen and small but adequate bedroom. No breakfast, but a supermarket and German bakery are around the corner, and the next door restaurant offers breakfast. Restaurants and harbour are about 10 minutes walking distance.The only detail that was lacking a bit was the living room couch, which quickly gets uncomfortable. But when that is the worst you can say of an apartments complex, it's good.

    Perfect location near Vuelta Swimming pool area is just wonderful

    We recently stayed at El Llano and enjoyed our 50 square meter appartment Bakery and shops at 1 minute Nothing to add : this is definitely a good deal Vuelta Harbour is just 5 minutes walking and Playa area ( long beach ) is just 10 minutes walking
