The location of the hotel is lovely. It is close to everything and that is a big plus. The courtyard is beautiful. That being said it was extremely hot in Granada and our air conditioning was almost nonexistent. It was difficult to sleep. Do not count on the room you book
BE WARNED; At the Macia Monasterio Los Basilios there is a real risk you will get a downgraded room or no room at all, due to routine overbooking, when you arrive. My partner and I booked the Superior Terrace room at the Macià Monastery, Granada but on arrival it was not available until the next day. We were told to take the downgrade room or 'find another hotel'. WHAT ATERRIBLE WELCOME !!!The room… BE WARNED; At the Macia Monasterio Los Basilios there is a real risk you will get a downgraded room or no room at all, due to routine overbooking, when you arrive. My partner and I booked the Superior Terrace room at the Macià Monastery, Granada but on arrival…
