Far Exceeded Expectations

From the moment I entered the hotel to the moment I left my experience far exceeded anything I could expect.All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay…..Carolina on reception always smiling and extremely helpful as was Alexis ….Bellboy Nuhacet was a great character and worked so hard ….Maria and all the Catering staff worked so professionally to ensure the experience in the restaurant was amazing… food, quality and choice at breakfast and dinner were extensive and top quality… and a big shout out to Nadia who cleaned my room to such a high standard and always had a smile every morning.The pool area was always immaculately clean with plenty of sun lounges available during the day and luxurious pool towels accompanied. One word AVOID!

One word AVOID! I've been to this hotel before but it has gone downhill. If you are ok with cigarette smoke then you should at least be able to use the balcony. In addition to the poor location of the smoking areas, the showers alternate between freezing and boiling. I paid for an upgrade after been offered a room overlooking the service area but honestly it really wasn't much better. Take care, if you book a "standard" room you will be overlooking the building next door or the service area with all the noise and wonderful aromas that that brings. Never again! Very good ood hotel with a few slight problems.

A nice hotel with just a few problems. I had already booked the hotel before checking on Trip Advisor which is unusual for me.I have a mobility problem which I now know has already been mentioned by previous guests. It turned out that it didn't cause too many problems the only stairs I needed to use regularly were to the restaurant but even then only about 6 or 7 which for me is just manageable. The only other must use stairs are to reception but those only needed twice checking in and checking out.My word of advice to anyone with mobility problems is don't book a room on the first floor, there is no lift access for some reason.Other than those minor problems for me the hotel is first class. Rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Snack bar by the swimming pool lovely serving tasty meals. The restaurant's first class on food and service. Oh another odd thing which I moaned about but was quickly rectified the toilet doors by the snack bar and sauna closed around 6pm when the pool bar closed. I was told that there was a rear entrance which was fine but on my first use I found the gents easily enough but in complete darkness. Did I enjoy myself for the week yes I did.Would I stay again yes I would.Staff very helpful and accommodating. There is a slight barrier problem with a lot of the friendly is their command of the English language isn't brilliant but we are in a Spanish resort so not totally unexpected.

Disappointing experience in **** hotel

During several days of our stay, it was impossible to enjoy the pool area due to a group of intoxicated guests at the pool bar shouting constantly. Despite multiple complaints to reception, the hotel only intervened after more than 1.5 hours, by which time we had already been forced to leave.The situation was clearly poorly managed. The hotel failed to ensure the basic level of comfort and tranquility expected in a property of this category. Other guests also left the pool area, visibly annoyed.What is even more disappointing is the way this was handled afterwards. Despite a formal complaint and several reports during our stay, the management later denied that any issue had occurred.No meaningful compensation was offered, only symbolic gestures that were not relevant to the inconvenience experienced.Overall, this was an experience well below the standards expected from a 4-star hotel.

Enjoyable stay look forward to my next visit

This is my fourth visit to this wonderful hotel , check in was completed fairly quickly and efficiently and friendly manor . I was even offered a refreshing glass of white wine , during check in . The room was spotless comfortable bed . Complementary bottle of red wine, water, fresh flowers , and bottled water, bath robe and slippers, the chamber maids are friendly and do their job very efficiently. I was on half board basis breakfast and evening dinner were of excellent quality. The high light of this hotel is undoubtedly all of the staff who are always freindly and engaging . In particular the restaurant maitre ‘d Maria , and Tracy stand out as they always extremely welcoming and having become friends over the last three years or so. However the remains staff are also friendly and efficient. I look forward to mt next trip in September.Kenneth Stewart.
