This hotel enjoys a quiet location, directly on the flat Playa Mitjorn beach. Various shops are to be found roughly 500 m away. The towns of San Francisco and Es Pujols (around 12 km away) are well worth seeing. The harbour of La Sabina, from where guests can travel to Ibiza, is about 15 km away. The resort has its own public transport stop.

Busy but beautiful hotel, no chairs by the day.
The Riu hotel is big but not overwhelming. The location is beautiful. The rooms are very tidy and very well kept by the staff. Every employee is charming. Not one exception. The vie from the room is outstanding. One advise : insist on a room in the front building closest to the sea or you will go up and down many steps all the time !Restaurant Mediterraneo sits right by the sea and you will enjoy… The Riu hotel is big but not overwhelming. Overall, quite a disappointing experience… for an impressive price they charge (8,000 + euros for three rooms for 5 nights), the value for money is quite low. There are no water bottles in the room and no nearby places to buy them, only a hotel bar at inflated prices. People come to the pool at 08:00 am, before it opens, throw their towels to occupy the sun beds and leave. Very nice hotel in Formentera. Great location and lovely views from hotel bars and rooms. The sea was beautiful and very clear. Lovely beach. Pool area nice and pool very warm. Area is lovely.
