A very dated and tired looking hotel

    rating30 Sept 2023

The location is central. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The room was ill lit. It looked very dated. From the window the view was into other bedrooms. The curtains had to be closed for privacy which made it gloomy. The breakfast was limited. Very little fresh fruit. Scrambled eggs were luke warm and bacon cold. Coffee from a machine awful. The only positive was the view from the restaurant. We have stayed in hostels that were of better standard than this 3 star place.

    An experience

    rating26 Mar 2023

The staff friendly. The room old fashion, but clean and tidy. The restaurant let the hotel down.. The dining table was attacked with smaller midge flies, to the embarrassment of the staff. But worse of all our main meal (100% hamburger) was uncooked. We did not eat it. Didn’t complain, we couldn’t speak Spanish, but the chef did come out and apologise. Giving us a free desert and coffee, which left us paying for the starter and main course of €50. Which we now feel was wrong. It was the main course that should have been deducted. Very disappointing, as the cost made what we had very over priced.

Great 4 day break with good friends.

Great hotel especially for the disabled wheelchair bound people. Platforming to raise and lower wheelchairs from the pavement to the basement lifts.Room 201 for disabled guests was spacious with a ride intoilet and shower.comfortable single beds. The Dining room on the 7th floor had a stu ning view for all to see,it was only open for breakfast and mid day lunch. The food was good and reasonably priced, 17/50euro . Being in the centre of th.e city all was within easy reach. Good local bus service for the able bodied

    a good place to visit

    rating04 Sept 2019

the hotel is centrally located in the new part of Cuenca. The old town is short walk from the hotel, but be warned it is up hill all the way. We enjoyed our stay but being English with very little Spanish language it can be tricky. All the receptionists spoke a little English and were very helpful to our needs.

Nice Hotel but disappointed with the room

    rating14 Jun 2019

This is a nice hotel in a great location. However the room we were allocated was on the 6th floor at the back of the hotel just below the restaurant. We had a view of a brick wall. We also had a constant noise of staff walking above our room. We would have asked to change rooms but we were only there for one night and after a long tiring journey we couldn't be bothered to go through the upheaval. I would recommend that you ask for a room which overlooks the park.
