Tremendous little hotel right on the beach, overlooking the marina. Spotlessly clean, welcoming and has everything you could need for a pleasant stay. But the staff are what make it - extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much trouble and they were very patient with my terrible attempts at Spanish! Room decoration is very basic, looks to be clean but 'deja mucho que desear'... You open the door to the balcony and either get hit with the noise from the pool or mosquitoes (I only opened the door once and I had 8 in total). Walls are so thin... I could hear the guy next door slapping someone's cheeks... 'doesn't leave much to the imagination'... I have just returned after a weeks holiday at hotel san luis with my sister and my brother and his wife. I had a wonderful holiday and this was partly due to the hotel san luis. My room was fantastic, a very comfortable bed and every facility I needed, with air conditioning, that saved my life on more than one occasion! Stayed at this hotel for three nights , after reading the comments here !!!! I do not think that the place is exceptional but the staff at the reception and bar are is very welcoming and helpful .
