This was a revisit as we had stayed in 2010 after the hotel we had booked turned out not to be up to standard. It was like paradise then, and it still is now. In fact we didn't notice much change since then, which was absolutely fine by us. We stayed for ten days, not really what Paradors are for as people stay for a short stop while travelling. This is the third time we stayed at the Parador de Mazagón and hope to return many more times. It's located in the Doña Ana nature preserve and some 150 steps above the ocean. Stairs connect the hotel to the long beach below. Free bicycles and many kilometers of paved trails are available to explore the beautiful natural habitat. Relaxing stay close to beach

Easy to find. Plenty of paid outdoor parking on site. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Whole hotel spotlessly clean. Large garden with plenty of loungers and shade, with view to sea. Room 58 had nice view of garden looking over the pool to the sea with a balcony in the sun all afternoon and evening. It was large, comfortable and quiet.
