Best hotel in Los Barrios, friendly staff.Rooms are OK, but the typical Spanish budget pillow (long hard tube) is from the low budget side of Spanish hotels.Breakfast is also on the low side, no eggs, scrambled or otherwise.What makes up for a 3-day stay is Antonio at the bar.Los Barrios is a workers town, some charm and history and close to Gibraltar and Algeciras. I had send a request for upper floor room, specifically for a very needed quiet room for excellent sleeping quality. the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are very good, good lighting in bathroom and sink is separately from WC. It was quite cold weather and as we noticed the room (suite) did not have heating. Normal room costs €65 and suite costs €219. you get nothing extra and a total rip off. The water from the faucet only came out hot. No cold water! Everything was broken, cracked, torn and dirty. Bathroom smelled of mold. 3 day Gibralter trip with the U3A

Excellent trip with Gandia Travel for 47 U3A Calpe branch. Well organised trip. Hotel OK food not good at all. Disastrous breakfasts. Ran out of croissants. Dried up scrambled egg and greasy bacon for hot breakfast. Evening meal no choice but did respond well to lactose free person and meat free person on our table of 8. 3 course evening meal was just about edible.
