Nice location, good food, friendly staff, beach access, walking distance from the interesting old town of Conil de la Fontera.As we are celebrating our civil wedding anniversary, we inquired if paying a room upgrade is possible, however declined… perhaps due to availability. But we were given a chance to choose between two room locations. Looks like there is a start of a construction site next to the hotel leading to noise and dust issues while clearing the site. While we stayed the land was being cleared and we could not use the balcony during the day. There are plans for a big development that could take several years to complete and ruin the partial sea view. We had a wonderful few days at Hipotel Gran Conil. We didn't expect a sea view but were given a room at the end of the corridor with a spectacular view of the pines and the ocean.
