A fabulous resort. The pools are fantastic. The rooms very comfortable. A wide range of food options for all guests. Although the restaurant was very busy there was always some where to sit. The entertainment was varied but good. It would have been nice for the children’s entertainment to be in English as well as Spanish. Worst holiday and experience for a parent

Likely the worst holiday and experience we’ve had. On the first night we were awoken in the middle of the night by a six ft Spanish man who couldn’t speak English stood in our room near our baby having broken in, or so we thought. This was our first visit and we were so impressed with everything.Checking in was seamless and as we arrived at 10 pm the staff told us to put our bags in a locked room and go and get something to eat and drink, this was very much appreciated.The room was fine and had everything we needed including slippers, bathrobes and bottles of water and juice. A real hidden gem.

What a fantastic surprise the Best Hotel Casta Ballena was.It was booked last minute through a travel operator as a package. Having never been to this area of Spain before it was a real surprise to discover totally unspoilt authentic Spain with beautiful beaches and some traditional architecture in the village.The beaches ran for miles of soft golden sands and I saw no litter on the beaches at all… What a fantastic surprise the Best Hotel Casta Ballena was.It was booked last minute through a travel operator as a package.
