When I reserved this hotel, I wasn’t sure about I chose correctly because of the location, because most visitors to Algeciras are headed to Gibraltar and/or Ceuta/Tangier. And both the ferry terminal and bus station are a 25 minute walk away. But having been down near the port, and seen that it is an area in need of redevelopment, I can happily say this is a much nicer area to stay in. Good hotel at a good location. The rooms are well equipped and modern. The breakfast was really excellent. It's very rich and very tasty. A very comfortable hotel room and bathroom! Reasonable price, and I would recommended for an affordable stay in Algeciras for solo travelers. Worst hotel ever

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, the beds were uncomfortable I felt like I was sleeping on the floor, it said the free toothbrush that was given had rock as it’s packaging to save the trees, I think the beds were aswell, I nearly slipped in the shower because the “mat” (Escolator) was making me go forward so much, don’t recomm me this Sercotel Aura Algeciras, General Manager at Serc… This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, the beds were uncomfortable I felt like I was sleeping on the floor, it said the free toothbrush that was given had rock as it’s packaging to save the trees, I think the beds were aswell, I nearly slipped in the sho…
