A hidden little gem

We have just returned from our 4th consecutive holiday at the AMA. It gets better and better each time. The staff, food, facilities and atmosphere are excellent. There is constant maintenance and improvements around the hotel. We use the AMA as a base for golf even though the Double Tree is nearer to the course. We had a great stay recently at this hotel. Accommodation was impressive we went for deluxe apartment which was perfect for a family with two teenage girls. Really large flat with well equipped kitchen and huge lounge area. Beds super comfy and shower amazing. Really lovely and quiet with blackout blinds throughout. Could be a 4* hotel but's it's not. Location was good and the apt was spacious. Female staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was poor. The hot buffet was cold. The choice was very poor. I asked form an omelette and they said they couldn't make it. For 4* you would expect better. The bacon was like leather! We went after seeing a Black Friday offer of 117 euros in a deluxe room including breakfast and dinner. We already us ether Spa as we live locally and chose a night in the hotel as a break from cooking and to use the Spa.
