Shabby, no sleep, rude staff
Don’t bother choosing this hotel for its location, there are plenty of much nicer hotels within easy walking distance of the Mesquita. The hotel is shabby and dated, many of the staff were rude: it’s the sort of place where you have to take 8 glasses off the shelf to find a clean one. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right across from the El Mezquita mosque; you just have to cross the small street to enter the mosque. The Roman Bridge and the Alcázar are five minutes away (though the castle was closed at the time). All of Córdoba’s attractions are within a 10-minute walk of the hotel. Great location and value for money and perfect for discovering the splendours of Cordoba.
Despite a bumpy start we all enjoyed our stay at the Eurostar Conquistador in Cordoba. Whilst the rooms were fairly basic, they were totally adequate, clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Excellent Hotel. Superb location!
