Shockingly Awfully- Avoid!!
Terrible, terrible hotel. We stayed here as part of a 7 day self guided bike tour. So I didn’t pick it. I haven’t seen such a grim property since I back packed in Greece in the 80’s.Grim roomsGrim breakfast. Tired, cheap food. We have stayed in Montanejos at least once each year since 2007, using two other hotels. This time, we were attracted by a better price at Xauen and were pleased we tried it: it will be our first choice in future. The rooms, which I guess are recently refurbished, are rather small although well equipped. Standard size double bed. Bathroom also compact but with a great shower. Beautiful views but in need of renovations
We booked this hotel for two nights. Our room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. Clean but in serious need of renovations. Cracks on the walls, rusty handles in bathroom...
