  Well located, clean and quiet

  We spent a night to continue with the trip the next morning, it is well located in an area with quite a lot of food places around, the hotel is usually quiet and clean.   Simple, clean and suitable hotel.

  Very good service from the receptionists. The breakfast buffet for 10€ very complete with real scrambled eggs and some gluten-free pieces. Only bread was missing, but there were saloons, cupcakes and gluten-free crackers. The hotel bed very comfortable.   Excellent attention from staff

  I went on business a few days ago, there are some cinemas nearby to relax.It is very comfortable because it has a free parking but because it is very central you can walk to all the places.All the staff have excellent treatment.I'm sure I'll spend a few days with the family again.   My daughter went to this hotel. Not a good experience..the unattended entrance was around a dark lonely corner with no lighting the first few days. Rooms basic. Shower head broke after a few days & they were too scared to ask after other experiences where the staff were not keen to help. They were however offered a different room but they only had 2 days left so decided not to move.The toilet became blocked one night & the very rude night guard firstly refused to help until the next day. He eventually came up to have a look with his plunger & commented in Spanish using the F word equivalent & adding..'what have you done?' I think he was called Juan.. great customer service eh? The girl on Reception was helpful when my daughter fell ill & had to find a pharmacy. Thank goodness my daughter speaks Spanish. The whole place needs a make-over..so depressing.Never again. It is a 2 * hotel, so all facilities and rooms are according with that category. If you desired a more exclusive service for your daughter, right next to the hotel we have the 4* Palace Hotel, which ought to have booked in advance. Nevertheless and as a detail of Marina d´Or, all guests at Marina Azul Hotel can enjoy several amenities at the 4* Palace Hotel for the same price.All our staff offers everyday a helpful, friendly and polite treatment. We have evidence that this is the treatment that your daughter received, attending her constant calls and requirements. Any kind of little damage that your daughter had had in her room, should have been reported to reception, no matter what time. As you indicate, we offered a room change in order to check and repair any damage with the unique intention of avoid additional bothering. If your daughter did not accept our offering we cannot be responsible for her decision. If our staff did not assist a particular requirement in the middle of the night may have been due to a temporary problem of our maintenance team at that precise moment or thinking in your wellness or in order not to disturb your daughter or the other clients in the hotel during their rest.We are sorry if she did not understand properly the words of Juan but we are completely sure that the question he asked was not unfriendly. He only wanted to be kind with your daughter. And her damage was solved.Thanks for your words about our receptionist; we insist that our human team does a great job trying to satisfy all your needs at all times. Thank you.

  Very ordinary!

  Stayed at the Azul on a recent business trip and although there was nothing wrong with the place I thought it was a very ordinary hotel. It has the distinct advantage of being the only hotel in the town and the price reflects this. The room was functional and clean but not particularly well decorated or comfortable. If the price had been 20 to 30 Euros cheaper I would have been very satisfied.
