Terrific value, friendly service, surprisingly good restaurant. We paid nearly 4X as much at our hotel in Barcelona for a mediocre experience. If you are staying in Castellon de la Plaza you can't go wrong here. Wonderful Stay in Castellon

The Hotel Luz is perfectly located near the main train station and bus terminal, and us eaasy walking distance to all of the main attractions. The hotel has a gourmet restaurant with elevated cuisine, but your morning coffee is available for €2.20 per person, making it great value as well. A few cafes bars n restaurants within a couple… Excellent hotel and price. Very dog friendly, with bowls and bedding provided, plus a park close by. I'll start with the positives- the proximity to the train station is a huge plus if you are arriving by train. The very best part of the hotel is the restaurant! The food is excellent and innovative while the staff are amazing! It's rare to have hotel food this good. The rooms are very clean and good sized. Now the less than positive: The front desk staff seem indifferent and bored, quite the cont… I'll start with the positives- the proximity to the train station is a huge plus if you are arriving by train.
