The hotel enjoys the perfect location in the small village of Somo, situated directly opposite Somo and Loredo beaches and the bay of Santander. It is the ideal place for a break just 300 m from the fine sand beaches and unparalleled waves, which can easily be accessed by walking through a spectacular forest of pine trees. It is well connected on land and water to the capital of Cantabria, Santander, around 20 minutes by car or boat. The bus stop is roughly 500 m from the hotel. Santander - Parayas Airport is situated approximately 20 km away.

Give it a miss
This is not suitable for more than an overnight stay. Wardrobes are incredibly small and only long enough for shirts or blouses. Staff unhelpful would not get a hanging rail for us. Hughly disappointed with the hotel as the minimum stay was 3 nights. We have been travelling for weeks a and we're expecting a 4 star hotel to have facilities for unpacking clothes. The air conditioning is a welcome relief during very hot days.
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a lovely way to spend our final days of a 2 week bike tour. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the location. It was especially welcoming to have air conditioning - after several days of extreme heat. The breakfast was great, as was the service. Poor value for money
In this hotel the rooms are outdated, old and over priced. We had an attic room that was dark, with no tea/coffee making facilities. The staff were efficient but not friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice. On check out we were charged extra for parking. Ok for one night
It’s a hotel of different parts in that there are good parts and not so good parts. We stayed for our last two nights in Northern Spain as it’s near Santander for the ferry but also Bilbao is only just over an hour away. We were welcomed nicely (English spoken) and the public areas are all marble flooring, light and bright. Once you go up to the bedroom floors though the hotel is a bit scruffy. Nice beach hotel
Torres de Somo enjoys a premium location very close to the beach and 10 minutes wall from the city center.The hotel’s ammeneties are nice with large garden and pool. The breakfast is very good with large choice and the dinner is OK. The downside of the hotel being the room which are a bit old fashioned , with broken AC making heaps of noise... almost not acceptable for this type of hotel.
