We picked this hotel due to its location to the Palacio de Deportes, as our daughter was competing at the Rhythmic Gymnastics championships, and we wanted to be within walking distance so we didn’t have to worry about early morning traffic. The location was great. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We paid for parking which was useful and easy, with easy access into the hotel. I stayed in Hotel Palacio del Mar for a couple of nights on a work trip to Santander. Over the service was good, the rooms were huge for what we paid and the location near the beach and the university was convenient. The breakfast was decent, but nothing special. Having stayed six times at this hotel dating back to 2015 we decided to stay again as we wished to be near Sardinero. Perfect for business trip. Rooms are good with enough space. Cleand and nice. Also the food is perfect at the restaurant. You can take a complete menu with dessert only with 22euros. Service is top.
