Terrible daily menu.
A Sunday in August, daily menu 30 euros. Island packed and the hotel restaurant half empty. The menu is extensive, it offers 7 starters and 7 main courses. First ugly detail, they don't let you choose two starters. I have eaten many daily menus and they have always let me have 2 starters, although not 2 main courses. Aging hotel with average amenities. The quality of the bedding really leaves something to be desired and does not compare well with other establishments offering the same rate. Decent hotel in a nice resort town
We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel, and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is not as modern as you might suspect from the photos, and the rooms are fairly basic. There is a nice pool and jacuzzi, and a rudimentary gym, although the latter is in a fairly odorous basement. This hotel is situated in the small village of Argonos, near the Bay of Biscay. I had to take a bus from Santander, (1 hour away 3.95 euros). The staff were very helpful and the breakfast had a nice selection and the dinner was pretty good too. My single room was on the small size but the bathroom was big and the bed was comfortable.
