Clean, modern hotel on edge of beautiful old town of Comillas. Well worth considering for stop off whilst touring north
Very clean comfortable hotel 10 minutes walk from centre of delightful Comillas. Lovely indoor swimming pool and free on site parking. Very good size room and balcony. Comfortable hotel in lovely quiet setting some distance from Comillas centre. Rooms spacious with all mod cons and very comfy bed. Lovely view down to sea from balcony. Ample free parking, and pool very welcome on hot day.Breakfast was very good. We were on the DBB rate and the food on this rate was disappointing, certainly for the price. Terrible hotel, avoid this place
We were travelling with two kids and had booked a family room. Once arriving to the room we smelled strong chemical which they had used to clean the cigarette smell away. Unfortunately, in the bathroom there was extremely strong smell still. Like someone had smokoed earlier the day. When complaining, they said hotel was full. Which I of course understand. But they didn’t do anything to compensate.… We were travelling with two kids and had booked a family room. This hotel would have been great if it wasn't for the staff. Rude, slow and unprofessional.Rooms are nice and location good.Room service food was great. Welcoming and helpful.Room spacious and immaculate - amazing full size window to balcony with view of sea. Bed very comfortable - best night's sleep.Bathroom with extra touches was lovely - full size towels.Food in restaurant was great quality and reasonably priced. Could have turned off some of the bright lights to create sone ambience.Pool was warm but hot tub unavailable.
