The hotel is average, shabby, uninteresting and uninspiring. The beds are comfortable, so if you just need somewhere to sleep, the hotel is fine, but we thought it was extremely expensive for an average hotel. Directions on Google maps don’t even take you to the right place! The parking is good but very expensive. This was my second stay here, roughly five years after the first, and I enjoyed it just as much as before. Very pleasant surprise after reading mixed reviews

We were driving from Scotland to Portugal and were unsure how far we would travel each day. So we booked this hotel in the day. Our first choice was fully booked. We were a bit reluctant to book this one due to reports of uncomfortable beds, dated, soundproofing etc. could not have been better though. Just outside the centre of the old town. Easily accessible and have an underground parking garage. The price of this parking is quite high considering that it is difficult to park around the hotel and they take advantage of that. The hotel is a bit outdated but well maintained. We stayed for one night while crossing Spain. Very good parking/garage/security. Very spacious rooms and clean. Good location with an easy walk to the old city, which is fabulous. Breakfast was okay.
