What has happened to this hotel? We have stayed here for years but it has gone down hill in a last few years. The receptionists are very pleasant but sadly not the rest. We were brushed off when we asked for a drink and walked out after waiting for a menu for dinner. Breakfast abysmal. Eggs had run out and choice limited. Stayed here for one night, the wonderful lady receptionist was extremely helpful and welcoming! The room was spacious, clean and had a very spacious bathroom with Hot tub! The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff most helpful! I would have liked to experience the other facilities but unfortunately time didn’t allow me to! Very surprised at the superior quality of this hotel. If it were in the UK, you would pay four times the room rate. A one night stay on the journey back up to Santander, so this hotel is very convenient, near to the motorway junction. Very clean, with big bedroom and bathroom.
