We rushed off the morning we left to resume the camino. We forgot our passports! Ciudad Gijon staff informed us immediately (Maria) and arranged a taxi to take the passports to our next stop on the route. She saved us from something that could have ruined the holiday and delayed us by days by taking such quick action. We are so grateful. It was fantastic reaction in a very tricky situation! We spent just one night in this hotel in Gijon. The location is perfect if you are arriving by train - just across the road. Our room was really great with a huge bathroom, excellent shower, and - most importantly - fantastic air conditioning. Very quiet too - we slept really well. They kept our bags for us too as we had a late flight, so we could explore more of the city. It's about a 15min walk… We spent just one night in this hotel in Gijon. Excellent hotel from check in to check out.
