Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean room. Nice bathroom with powerful shower. Comfortable, if quite small, double bed. Fantastic location.Slight disappointment is that the advertised air conditioning is not fit for purpose. We would wake up in middle of night very hot (and this was with overnight temperatures outside of mid teens maximum). If you open the doors, you get a lot of mosquitoes (bite… Friendly staff. An excellent location with wonderful helpful people. They have parking. The receptionist guided me in. People were cheerful and welcoming. Surrounded by beautiful bars and restaurants. This was my third visit to Gijon, and it won't be my last. A short 1 3/4 hour flight from Gatwick with Vueling, and a 1/2 hour taxi ride from OVD (Asturias) Airport and I was in town. I loved this hotel where I stayed 2 nights while walking the Camino de Santiago del Norte route. The reception staff are super. They speak good English and are cheerful and very helpful. The hotel seems fairly new or at least newly renovated. The lift was small but adequate. My room felt modern and clean.
