Four star hotel - I don’t think so.

Location is excellent, in close proximity to restaurant, cathedral and the old town. Atmosphere is somewhat dated, but quaint. The rooms were clean and functional, however the air conditioning wasn’t working, hadn’t been for some time and there didn’t seem to be any hurry to fix it. As a result, the room was hot. Opening the window to allow for some fresh air wasn’t really an option as the street… Location is excellent, in close proximity to restaurant, cathedral and the old town. Old hotel needing some attention on many levels. Not a 4 star by anyone’s standards 2-3 if you’re lucky. Room was so basic, quite appalling for the cost. Great and interesting history . Great location but that’s it. Breakfast was appalling. Hot food inedible. Coffee disgraceful. Yogurt for brekkie ! Omg never again.Old hotel needing some attention on many levels. Not a 4 star by anyone’s standards 2-3 if you’re lucky. Room was so basic, quite appalling for the cost. Great and interesting history . Great location but that’s it. Breakfast was appalling. This hotel is very well located but because of the location we got no sleep because of the noise. It was Saturday night so maybe that didn’t help. There was no working air conditioning and it was very hot in the room but too noisy outside to sleep with the windows open.There was no safe or kettle in the room. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was over the bath . Breakfast was buffet style.… This hotel is very well located but because of the location we got no sleep because of the noise. Recently stayed here for a few days. Location is fantastic as it is only a few minutes walk to the old town. However, if travelling by train/bus, it’s about 15 mins walk (with luggage). I appreciate and am grateful that they let us check in early (before midday). This hotel is located close to everything. There is a supermarket nearby, there are plenty of bars & restaurants nearby too.
