Location

Just 10 minutes away from the city centre of Gijón, the hotel is located in a quiet rural area with 4 golf courses nearby and easy access to the popular beaches of La Ãora and Playa España. The nearest golf course and restaurants are around 800 m away. The Botanic Garden, San Lorenzo Beach, the Gijón Aquarium and Talasoponiente are also within around 10 km of the hotel, as is Asturias Airport.

    The hotel and the oversll stay was good. The hotel itself has a lot of activities (spa, gym, paddel and so on) nearby. The rooms are quite spacious and the restaurant is nice as well. Only improvements in my case has been the cleanliness inside of the minibar

    I was just about to finish my 1000km drive and ARTIEM Asturias hotel happened to be well located near highway. Although arriving late at night, I have been welcomed with very kind and efficient staff and nice room with comfortable bed was exactly what I needed after long day. In some hotels I have problem to fall asleep but here I slept super well. Next day I had super tasty breakfast prepared exactly as I requested and super efficient checkout. I had truly amazing stay in this hotel and I will definitely return one day.     Currently staying for 3 nights, having chosen this hotel for relaxation purposes during a road trip and its exceeded all expectations Staff: are friendly, welcoming & attentive, make you feel at homeRooms: booked 2 rooms with terraces on the ground floor, spotlessly clean, service daily with free water refills. The terrace catches the afternoon sun perfectly. Really liked the unique touches in the room such as the radio surround sound and the environmental consciousness with recycling, water use etc. Free mini fridge and safe Food: outstanding! Breakfast has cooked to order from a menu, the scrambled eggs are delicious plus a variety of continental, fresh fruits, fresh juices. We booked half board through the hotel direct, which included evening meal of starter main and dessert with great choices, quality and portion size every evening. The prawn risotto was delicious! The evening service also included aperitifs and bread and water. Couldn't fault a thing except we were so full each evening! Facilities: Spa was great and not overcrowded, particularly liked the ice cold plunge pool. Had the "mental relax" massage which nearly had me falling asleep it was so relaxing. Gym also free to use and open 24 hours, good equipment and very clean. Outdoor pool was chilly but I like it cold and is open 9-9 you can get pool towels from reception. The sunbed area is a suntrap in the day Overall an amazing experience so far and would without doubt come back here again and recommend to anyone travelling in Asturias. Thank you Artiem team!
