It is an ideal base from which to enjoy the quiet beaches or to play the numerous outdoor sports available in the area. The centre of Mojácar is just 20 min away by foot and the beach at Piedra is 20 m from the hotel’s doorstep. Attractions worth a visit in Mojacar include the town's port, the viewing point of the Plaza Nueva and the castle. The Playa de Mojácar is a stunning 5 km stretch of untouched beach coastline. The nature reserve Cabo de Gata offers visitors a fascinating glimpse of the fabulous fauna and flora indigenous to the area and there are sand dunes and sites for bird watching just 80 km away. Road trip through Sapin and France
We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay at Parador de Mojacar during our road trip through Spain and France. Lovely room, lovely food and a superb pool plus the amazing mountain village. A very relaxing and pleasant stay and the chill we needed before resuming our road trip. The superior sea view room we paid a considerable amount for was noisy with a terrible outlook on… Wish I'd read the comments here and I could have cancelled. The extensive building work at the former pool area ruined this stay. There is no information on the website and the Hotel did not inform me this work was going on after or during the booking process. This lack of transparency led us into a situation where I could not make an informed choice and cancel the booking before arrival. The pool area is a real mess and I seriously doubt it will be completed… The extensive building work at the former pool area ruined this stay. There is no information on the website and the Hotel did not inform me this work was going on after or during the booking process. This lack of transparency led us into a situation where I cou…

Wait until the construction is finished
The was the first Parador we ever stayed at back in 2014. The hotel remains the same and the staff friendly. The huge negative was the construction zone outside our window with workers completely reworking the pool area beginning at 8am each day. I can understand guests being irate when they were expecting a pool and there is none. Even the view to the ocean was obstructed.Check in was easy and th… The was the first Parador we ever stayed at back in 2014. The hotel remains the same and the staff friendly.
