Great location, relaxed atmosphere, clean room, great terrace with plunge pool, very relaxing when quiet and the ancient spa was the best I’ve been to in many years. Got a good price for the whole experience, breakfast is a little expensive and other places are cheaper a short walk into town like La Innata, easy to order from a great menu including vegetarian options. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy walking distance to the cathedral and castle. It has an interesting layout but really could do with the staff bring a bit more switched on. Check in was fine but literally no information provided about breakfast, the pool or towels,the room was a suite on three levels. We visited the hotel reception with the intention of booking both a room and a visit to the spa. When we asked if we could first;ppl at a room and the spa we were told that this was not possible unless we first paid for both facilities. I stayed at the hotel Aire in late April and had a very mixed experience. My room was on the ground floor and was large and airy, however being situated near the main entrance to the front of the hotel and backing onto a main road to the rear, it was quite noisy at night. I was woken up a few times by street noise and people coming into the hotel in the small hours of the morning. We had a really enjoyable 4 night stay here in February.The location is superb – in a very quiet pedestrianised square, with many restaurants and bars close by. It’s a beautiful old building with character.
