New modern building located in a newer area of the city yet close to the old town. Nice and helpful front desk staff. The room was large, clean, quiet, with all amenities. In need of an update.
This hotel is in need of an update and doesn't compare favourably to other Mercure hotels we have stayed at in France. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and it was useful being able to leave the car in the underground car park all day. However the whole place is like stepping back into the 1980s with very dated furniture and decor throughout. A one night stay on the way through France.Chosen mainly for its secure parking in an underground car park.As other reviews have said the service is rather cold. Lovely dog friendly hotel
Over night stay in Angers. We booked the Mecure as it was dog friendly and located on route for us. Secure underground car park as well. We arrived early evening, east to find. Underground car park is great, although entrance height would have been prevented a roof box! Receptionist was very helpful booked us a local restaurant that was dog friendly. Needs some updating
We stayed in a suite, which was nice and spacious. Furniture and decor was a bit dated and especially the blackout curtains and net curtains were very stained and had seen better days. The aircon worked efficiently and was quiet. Bathroom was really great and well equipped with very good toiletries (Shower Gel/Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Lotion and Handwash).
