LOUD, and inconsiderate management
I have never been to an upper end hotel that had major reconstruction work going on for the entire day and into the evening. Most places close their doors during renovation and cease taking reservations, but not the Reconquista. The hotel has a great location and working AC, but it feels like it got stuck somewhere between 1987 and a half-hearted attempt to update the place.After a long day we tried to find something to eat during the siesta. That’s basically impossible between 4 and 8 pm in this town. Very nice hotel if visiting Alcoy and The All Saints Market in Cocentaina
Good hotel, very clean and the Junior Suites are very spacious and clean. Would definitely visit again. Handy for the bus to the November All Saints Market as you can catch the bus for 1.50 euro each, just round the corner from the hotel.
