  Well…when I booked the stay I was told there was a food/beverage credit of $150. When I got my bill, it said the “credit” was built into my room rate. That’s absurd. When I got to the property at 2:00 with my GF in her wheelchair, I was told it would cost another $75.00 for “early” check in, even though the room was ready.   Amara Cay Resort has seen better days, and the hotel is not up to the expected standard even for the the Keys. I booked the suite to celebrate my anniversary, and I would not stay here again. Room 202 was extremely noisy with the sound of the elevator motor going day and night combined with the car traffic from the overseas highway.
