1 night stay before our trip. Location excellent for the train station. We arrived late in the evening, check in was swift and easy. On entering our room we were aware of a very strong smell of bleach. Whilst the housekeeping was very good, the room should of been aired prior to guests entering. My three-day stay at the City Estación in Alicante was fine. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast provided. A good price-quality ratio. What a shame that a breakfast employee is not customer friendly and refuses to make a good cappuccino on the beautiful Italian coffee machine that is also there. One night stay at La City Estacion before flying home from Alicante having been to Valencia. Brilliantly located hotel for both the train station and the airport bus.
