Nice but needs work
We were disappointed the restaurant was not fully working on the Tuesday night. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. It is obvious that the hotel needs maintenance - for instance the windows badly need attention.We were disappointed the restaurant was not fully working on the Tuesday night. A fantastic stay with great food
We had a fantastic stay with friends in this Beautiful, Clean hotel. The staff were amazing, helpful, friendly and attentive. It’s set in amazing scenery and we were greeted with a glass of cava on arrival. Nice indoor pool which we used. Our evening meal was fantastic, tasty and so well presented which was the same the next day for breakfast. Rooms are clean and modern decor. Review of Hotel La Escondida
The place is apt to its name, it is like a hidden gem in the middle of mountains. The calm and silence around is therapeutic. The service is excellent and the food was great as well. Described as fine dining, gourmet extravaganza off the beaten track, but having travelled 5 hours and allowed to sign contract and checkin, then told “No hot food” ! As with my 90 year old mother I paid for lunch and cleaning and despite having an invoice cancelling the rooms, was re invoices for € 925 .
