The staff: they do not respond when you say good morning etc. No friendly hello. The hotel is very noisy. We arrived at the hotel in early September for 10 days. We were on a room only basis as we only have a light breakfast and wanted to try local restaurants.The hotel is well presented and very clean. I booked this hotel for the location. Close to the lovely promenade and 1.49 euro on the bus to Alicante. Bus stop right outside the entrance door. A shop across the road which sells anything and everything. Fresh fruit shop and mini market a short walk away. A few seafront restaurants visited rather than dining in the hotel. Good location, close to the promenade and beaches, and easy to reach from Alicante city centre by tram.The hotel overall feels quite run down, and fairly basic. The bedroom was also quite basic and not very attractive.Hotel bar was closed by 2230, so the vending machine on the road outside was the only option for a bottle of water.Breakfast was really poor.
