The lodges are set in an area where the Big 5 roam, a mere 2 hour drive from the hectic lifestyle of Johannesburg. The bush ist just outside. The property is concealed within the rich expanses of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park.

100 rooms, including 20 single rooms and 56 double rooms, are available. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A lovely holiday. We stayed in the timeshare units which had a private pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had a fantastic stay at Bakubung Bush Lodge! It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy the beauty of the bush. Always looking forward to our trip there

It's our 4th visit at Bakubung and we always love our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. Sadly my room didn't measure up to expectations this time as there were a few issues like aircon not working and nowhere to charge our phone unless you unplug the kettle.
