Some of the reviews about Singa Lodge described it as being a little worn at the edges, and that is arguably true, but don’t let it dissuade you from staying. My traveling companion and I stayed four nights in Port Elizabeth before heading to our safari, and I chose Singa based on the photos of its exotic decor. As always, I love the decor and Buli, Thuli and co were always friendly and very helpful. I would encourage management to ensure regular maintenance/ aesthetic awareness to keep the property at its best at all times- some wear and tear is visible. A wonderful place to stay if you are visiting PE. Each room is full of character and class. The staff are very warm and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. Fully recommend. We had one very nice night here in PE before heading on to our game reserve. Lovely hotel in a nice part of town with super staff and nice appointed rooms. Hi After previous visit to your facility I was hugely disappointed this time around. I stayed in room 8 and shower has mildew ,and room need TLC . See attached photo. Surely you have higher standard than this. I will not use this facility until you assure me that problem has been resolved.
