avoid the restaurant

Large rooms, not far from the beach (we had room with sea view). Pools and sauna park are at the Terme Portoroz. Breakfast could be a little bit better but the staff is kind. Check-in is in the neghbouring Apollo and was, shall we say, unenthusiastic. Was told no parking space available, the "bell hop" would guide me to the parking 2km away for free. I assume driving while using your phone is legal in Slovenia? No? In retrospect, it was the transfer that was free not parking. A real nightmare with a parking space. The parking space is 2,5 km away from the hotel. You have to wait 15-40 minutes to get your car. Clean and tidy rooms. Food was ok. Nice big room with comfy bed and pillows. Big bathroom as well. They could change the towells every day, which they don't. Warm hanger for towells is very small so we couldn't dry them from one day to another. They also don't provide you with extra towells for pools/saunas.Food in general is well prepared and tasty.
