Location

The hotel is set on an exclusive peninsula and is made up of 17 acres of lush tropical gardens. The Puerto Rico hotel's location is ideally situated between historic old San Juan and the exciting Condado area, offering a secluded beach, lavish accommodation and amenities tailored to families, couples and business travellers alike. It is also just a 15-minute drive from Luis Muñoz Marín Airport and 5 min from San Juan's Convention Center.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 651 rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a hairdresser. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a games console, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball, crazy golf, golf and a putting green. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy snorkelling and diving. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym, billiards and yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and hydrotherapy treatments and, for an additional fee, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant (with high chairs), a café and a bar. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options.     Not overly impressed, but nice staff and private beach

    Close to old San Juan and has a small private beach. The room was underwhelming and the shower didn't work very well, but the staff was very nice. Self parking was somewhat stressful.

    We stayed 2 nights in mid June. Arrived around midnight and our first room had a balcony that wouldn’t open and phone that didn’t work. They offered to move us to a different room which we did for the second night. It had a beautiful view and the balcony door opened and the phone worked. The major problem with our stay was that we were unable to trust the cleaning staff. My daughter had packed 3 dresses for the trip and left the tags on one of her 3 dresses. She set it out and planned to wear it to dinner that night but when we got back to the room the dress was gone. I really couldn’t believe it because I have never had my clothes stolen at a hotel before. We told them the value of this particular dress and they supposedly did an investigation but were told the dress wasn’t found. No compensation was offered for the missing dress. My daughter was so upset. We will not stay at this hotel again and if you do stay here don’t leave tags on your clothes and lock your valuables in the safe.

    The hotel is right on the beach. The pool area is large, and has hammocks, a pier and a hot tub. There is a nice walk around the beach area. The rooms are large and many have a great view. The bathrooms are large. There is a refrigerator in the room. The bar area has good cocktails, and small bites. There are several shops in the hotel.     We had an amazing time, especially at the pool bar where bartender, Hiram Avila, really took care of us. He even cuts shapes in our garnishes, stars, hearts, really took the time to give us a hospitable experience. Amazing place with an amazing private pool, private beach, and great room. Even gave us an upgrade for my birthday! Loved it!!
