One of the most bureaucratic, dated, half-arsed hotels I’ve ever been to.Food very poor. Isolated location. All facilities open only at specific hours, eg no pool access until 10, and using the pool requires filling in a form. Trampolines exist beside a sad little playground, but you’re not allowed to use them outside a specific 30 minute slot. What a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Amazing sunsets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent amenities including gym, spa and indoor pool. Plentiful sunbeds around the outdoor pools. Excellent buffet breakfast - really spoilt for choice! Only downside was that we couldn't walk into Sintra as there are no pavements - instead, a taxi costing around 11 Euros each way.
