Location

The hotel is situated in the Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra tourism triangle, close to the western-most point of the European Continent (Cabo da Roca) ‘where the land ends and the sea begins’. Looking out over the Guincho Beach onto the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel offers breathtaking views and fresh air. The bright sunshine is tempered by refreshing breezes from the Sintra hills. Links to public transport can be found in the immediate vicinity. Cascais is just 7 km away. There, visitors will find exciting nightlife, shopping opportunities, as well as the bus and train stations. Portela Airport is some 30 km from the accommodation.

Facility

    The location is wonderful ,right on the beach. Staff was very accommodating..we arrived very early but our room was ready. No frills but clean and comfortable. On site restaurant. We did not have breakfast as we left very early but was included. Great stay...I'd go back!

    Friendly hotel, comfy, near the beach and our room had great views of the beach/ocean, only no water tap outside to wipe sand of your feet. The Guincho beach is perfect for surf, swimming one has to take extra caution. Breakfast is average, lack of fresh fruit (only apples and oranges), there is some tin fruit. Cereal is available with several options, also some choice of different milks. There is a Sports Bar, another Bar with views of the sea.The restaurant serves good meals and is affordable.Overall was a relaxed week spent at this establishment.

    Built originally in 1945 and extended in 1960's. Really different interior. Original blend with modern portugese architecture. Rooms really modern with everything you need. Staff cannot do enough for you. So helpful. Bar food just what you want. Restaurant food was delightful. Really really good chef. Scenery was mind blowing. You have to see the pool to believe what I an saying.

    Stayed here for a few days as I had promised a trip to a beachfront hotel.Hadn't bargained on the wind and waves but the room was comfy, clean. The staff were amazingly polite and very helpful. They all spoke perfect English.Room had a super sea view too. This is family owned, not a big chain, so it has quirky decor.Throughly recommended!

    I stayed for 2 days before changing hotels. Pleasant hotel, good view, helpful staff. Suitable for people who have a car or are willing to use another form of transport because I found it away from everything but in a surfing point. Ideal for yong people
