The room we stayed in needed a complete remodeling. Old dirty carpet, old bed frames and chipped furniture. Breakfast pretty standard but not exceptional. Big bathtub to take a shower and you almost need a ladder to get in and out and no grab bars. Only stayed 1 night as part of a coach trip.As a solo within that group I was given a lovely and large double room. Fridge in room.Dinner and breakfast were both buffet style, good with lots of choice, including hot food with breakfast. 2 problems - we were refused tap water, so could only have a drink with our meal that was paid for, and the music in the restaurant at dinner was loud. The hotel is part of a chain in Portugal, offers good sized bedrooms, sadly no furniture on the balcony to enjoy the outside space. Like most large hotels/chains the hotel lacks atmosphere and feels sterile but it served it's purpose. There is good car parking underground (€10/day).
