Very nice hotel for the price. Went in off season so it was not busy at all. I can see parking being a challenge in peak season but the room was nice and grounds and pool are top notch. Booked for a 5 day trip to play golf with inclusive golf. Hotel very ordinary and furnishings cheap. Service lacked warmth. The golf was not great, really poor customer service and despite booking a buggy, none were available. Marketed as high end, does not compare with other resorts of same nature. Remote but Relaxing – Great Food and Friendly Staff

As someone visiting from Norway, I have to say Royal Obidos Spa & Golf Resort really feels like it's out in the middle of nowhere. If you're planning to stay here, I’d definitely recommend having a car – it’s not a place you just walk around from.That said, the hotel is beautifully located on a hill with great views of the ocean and the nearby golf course.
