My husband and I had the privilege of staying at the Melia Ria for 8 nights in July 2026 during the JW International Convention. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay so accommodating. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and clean as well as in a prime location of Aveiro. We stayed at Meliá Ria Hotel & Spa with our family and friends for a few days and had an overall pleasant stay.The staff were professional and friendly, and the breakfast was good with a nice selection of food. Feels like being in LA not Portugal.
Well located but deceptive. Confortable and clean rooms, but rather expensive for Portugal. Despite the hetfy price, there's no coffee maker in the room, you pay extra to access the pool (!) and they charge 35€ for a dog. Lovely stay during coastal cycle trip
This was a very good hotel for our needs. Location is away from the main city centre but only a 15 min walk and as it is canal side there is a pleasant aspect.
