I paid about $87/night for five nights with Priceline and Orbitz. Credit cards accepted. Phenomenal location--bus station, Pingo Doce, Sanctuary all a short distance away. Excellent included buffet breakfast. Lunch buffet also a good deal. Dinner looked too pricy. Room not huge but plenty of space. Very clean. Bathroom plenty of room. We were attending a conference at the Paul VI Convention Center, that is around 3 blocks from the hotel, so location was perfect. We spent 2 nights at Sao Jose in a double room. The staff provided excellent service. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with its en-suite bathroom. Breakfast offered plenty of (very good) choices. The location - very close to the sanctuary - is perfect. We could easily find a spot to park our car close to the hotel.All in all, this was a great stay! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!We spent 2 nights at Sao Jose in a double room.
