The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, a shrine visited by thousands of pilgrims every year, lies 1 km from the hotel. Excellent location, few minutes walk to Chapel of the Apparitions. Paying a little more for room with a view was worth it as we could see the grounds from our room. Parking was reasonable, ten Euro a night. The hotel attracts many tourists groups. They provide two complimentary bar drinks . Nice lobby and bar area. Breakfast was good, fresh orange juice, great coffee, delicious rolls, eggs, fruit.Excellent location, few minutes walk to Chapel of the Apparitions. I have to say this hotel delivered everything for a most beautiful and holy stay in Fatima.The room was so spacious with a dream bed with lots of pillows. It lead to two nights of deep, refreshing sleep. There was also a really comfy sofa in the middle of it. Plus a gorgeous bathroom that had cleverly incorporated a separate shower and bath that could be easily accessed and yet separate. We had the most fabulous 5 star stay in hotel Estrella. The room was beautiful, so clean. The staff were so courteous, polite & looked after us so well. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is straight outside the sanctuary. It also has the mist beautiful pool & sun loungers. Will definitely be back here. Stayed here en route to Porto. This is a very large hotel, convenient to the sanctuary. Many rooms have sliding glass doors and small balconies. My room was very spacious but also a bit odd as it had a kitchenette which was locked shut. I had not asked for a room with a kitchen but it would have been nice to have access to a small fridge or tea kettle for the morning. There are not a lot of restau… Stayed here en route to Porto.
