Positive: Super helpful staff. We got the 6th floor that had a nice view. There is a pool - saw people having fun there but didn't went there.Negative: No parking, mini-bar is empty (if you need water or so, you need to ask at the front-desk), room needs some reno (mattress is old, pillows are terrible, AC was broken), I found hair on the bed and bathroom, the sheets had stains. Excellent hotel with excellent staff
This hotel was much better than expected. Though the rooms are old they are clean and have all amenities you require. We even had a fridge which was well used by us ??. The staff are excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms were cleaned every day. There was no balcony and we missed this. Breakfast was nice but the same everyday. Location good for transportation. Both train and bus station under 5 minute walk away. Room was ok, bed decent however a big thumbs down to the hotel for turning off their air conditioning, because of COVID. I stayed for 4 weeks throughout Portugal but no other hotel turned off the AC, yet they are still advertising in room climate controlled air conditioning. We stayed at this hotel for two nights as we were in town for a wedding. We werent expecting much from the hotel due to the low price, however it was an OK experience. Breakfast is very basic, continental breakfast was provided from 7:30-10am. The hotel is located in a great location within the town.
