The hotel is located between Gardunha and Serra da Estrela, more specifically in the city of Fundão, about 400 m from exit 'Fundão North' on the motorway Beira Interior (A23). Portela Airport of Lisbon and Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport of Porto are located at a distance of approximately 240 km and 220 km from the hotel, respectively.

English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Meh… the spa is not great.. too many kids and the experience is kinda ruined by the kids screaming. Alambique Spa Hotel is a very good choice for families, especially if you are travelling with children. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it.It is quite rare to find this kind of spa hotel in Portugal, with so many pool facilities and activities for kids. I loved the place outside and our room was very big and cosy. We loved the cushion, they were very confortable.The bathroom could be a little better, only the shower.We liked a lot the swimming pool.The workers were very nice and dedicate. Very nice new renovated hotel, with a lot of comfort and friendly staff. The Spa is just amazing, new, huge and very clean. A lot of swimming pools and area for a big hotel.
