I stayed at this hotel for a writing conference and was highly impressed! The staff was so kind and always helpful with whatever they needed. The breakfasts were delicious and substantial. They cooked dinner for our group every night, and it was the best food I’ve had for a conference, hands down! The Noble House is a treasure trove of history in the midst of this historical city. The Garden Suite is amazing, secluded off to the side of the rest of the building. Whether this hotel gets a better review will depend on the room you get. Being in an old building the room types are uneven. Same category can get you a great one with balcony or terrace (for which you'd likely get a rave review) or a basic one with no view. We had a room on second floor (#14) facing a narrow side street and building right on the other side.
