The hotel is located between the mediaeval Monsaraz Castle and the large Lake Alqueva, situated less than 1 km away from the harbour of Lake Alqueva. Monsaraz Castle with its panoramic views is to be found just 1.5 km away. The hotel is surrounded by nature on every side. It is an amazing place for travellers to spend a few days in a quiet paradise. Faro and Lisbon airports are both approximately 180 km away.

Guests have a choice of 25 rooms, including 13 junior suites, 6 suites, single rooms and 5 double rooms, located in a 2-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. The hotel provides a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom, room service and a laundry service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. This newly reopened small hotel was a great find during our short trip in the Alentejo.
